Isamu character design

My OC Isamu, the main character from my comic [link](The Tengu from the West) which I'm making now.

This are the design rough sketches with some quick colors.
I don't manage to draw Isamu right yet. It comes out very inconsistent. It took me several face sketches until I got the right air. You can notice in the face sketches there (a smal selection)
On the top left, the definitive. On the bottom right, an older version.

The glove is for Kyudo (japanese archery). I misscolored a part that's supposed to leave some fingers out, but since this is just for quick reference it doesn't matters =_=

You should search or 'Kyudo' in Youtube and at some videos. Is pretty cool.
