Gremio (Suikoden I) and Lyon (Suikoden V) from Genso Suikoden series.
This is prize art for ~TheNicestKeen who won the 2nd prize of the contest we held at #Suikoden-FC

About the chibis, I was asked to draw those two walking toghether. I imagined them both talking at the same time about their masters, and not listening one another lol

For those that don't know the series, the blonde girl is a boy lol And I never noticed Gremio was so pretty XDDD

I added detail to Gremio's clothes, since Suikoden I design are a bit lacking (hey it's VERY old game, from '95)

BTW, I'm not one of those Kawano haters. I actually like her work, even if my fave is Ishikawa. But I like how she handles expressivness on the face, which is something I missed in V, specially from the main characters

OMG, 3 color illust in a week! XD

Ahahaha! From the thumbnail (and indeed, even when I first loaded up the page), I totally thought this was Nash and Lyon and it really had me going... "what in the world could those two be doing together?' But Gremio and Lyon does make sense. X3

I'm not a great fan of chibis, in general, but the semi-creepiness of yours--Lyon's face is just a little scary, lol--really has me liking these. Bravo, and I'm really happy to see so much Suikoden art spread from that contest! I hope we have another, and even more art gets created!! <3 <3 <3
