I've got my main computer back the other day. I've been installing stuff until now. I think it's ready for working again. I just need to install random stuff that I don't use daily.
The problem was the graphic card, which was replaced. Windows was also damaged because of the many forced shut-downs they had to do because of the computer freezing, and they format it. I took the chance to upgrade to Windows 7. My XP was the oldest edition and every time my comp got formatted I needed to update Windows for more than a week =_=
I'm still a bit lost arounf 7 but I think it works fine.
About work, I've sketched most of the stuff I had to do, and scanned it today. I should be able to paint it starting tomorrow or the next.
My main computer is off for repairments. It got stuck minutes after starting it. I think it over-heats, and the current heat wave we're getting here made it worse, but I won't know until tomorrow or so. They say it may just need cleaning of the fans, but may also be more serious.
In any case, I can't paint. I have my netbook, so I can connect to the net, but I can't paint here. The monitor doesn't displays color well and it's too tiny, plut the machine is not as powerful.
I owe some colors arts, so I fera you'll have to wait a bit, sorry T_T
one tip: I don't know how you treat your computer but try for example to keep your desktop free.
only with the "trash can" and "computer" shortcut.
If the desktop has a few shortcuts, it will be slower
I once have the problem like this, too.
The graphic card was out of order but it could be back to work again after bought and installed a new one for a year until my computer's mainboard was out of order...and I have to buy a new computer with windows7.
I also got lost with Windows7 and had to find its usage from internet.
I'm getting used to 7 little by little. For now is all settle to paint, but I'm still missing the JP input system and a few other stuff.
congratulation my friend
