How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It must be because people is on finals, but this has become kinda.... quiet. Feels a bit lonely =_=
But aside from that, I get this feeling that many people is leaving DA lately. More than usual. But maybe it's just me?

Anyone has been reading the latest chapters? I'm getting kinda bored of this fight, and the continuous power-ups that don't seem to go anywhere, but the younger readers seem to love it =_=
And Muku+Spade combo looks so weird .... The arc plot is being good, but is developing very slowly, save for the matter with Enma's family which was revealed too suddenly IMO Not to mention I had high hopes for a Vindice break, but it didn't happen due to Spakuro coming to the others.
I don't want to complain too much though. I still like the series. I'm hoping for the adults to appear again soon (that includes Dino, of course.) as well as the prevopisly promised appearance of young Spanner (and Shouichi?) I want the old characters back T_T

I must say... I'm kind of disappointed in the latest arc. I loved the future-arc, but this one was just boring. Tsuna didn't even have any difficulty beating the "enemy" this time. He got stronger, he met a "conflict", (friends taken as hostages, though that really did nothing), and then he won, after a kinda lengthy battle. The creativity is just not there at all.

And what is this about looking like your ancestor who's ten (or something like that) generations back!? It's just not logical! And neither is it exciting. With a plot, you have to not be able to guess what is going to happen. After the complete randomness of about the first hundred chapters, and then the excitement of the three more serious arcs after those, (which were kind of predictable as well), KHR kind of lost that building excitement. At least that's what I think.

Also, there was supposed to be a totally awesome Vindice arc now. D: Though I'm not that disappointed with seeing Varia again. >_> :3

Oh man, I kind of think the whole "Rings of Earth" and "OH BTW there was some random hidden family!" kind of sounds like a badly-written fanfiction to me. I was so used to the "7-3 policy" with the Mare, Vongola, and Acrabaleno sets....and now a random new family?
I like Enma, he grew on me, but the rest of them are kind of "meh."
I miss the old characters like you said ;n; It's moving so slowly lately...
