The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Flash and KHR Otomen

HELP

Does anyone around know to use Flash? Anyone would know how to make a Dress-me-up doll game and/or a comic viewer? (as, to submitt a multiple-pages comic in a single file, with buttons for NEXT/PREV pages and such)
EDIT: Thank you for the suggestions, but I don't want tutorials on this. I know some, actually. I don't have much time, so what I'd like is someone that could do this for me (the base) as a kind of collab work. If nobdy would, I'd have to do it myself, of course, but I'd rather have the help here.

COMMISSIONS
I've almost finished the commissions I got. Just one chibi to go!

But I'm considering extending the commission time. I'm thinking about getting a PS3 (I don't have any new-gen consoles. Due to lack of interest in the games they've released lately)
I'd like to play Nier(I have the feeling I'd like it very much. And the soundtrack is AWESOME. Nothing to envy to Xenosaga I OST In a different style though)
I'm looking forward to Atelier Rorona and Ni no Kuni. If I'll have the time to actually play, it's another matter lol

Does anyone know this game? Is a fan-made KHR Otomen game lol =Red-Priest-Usada showed it to me from here: [link]
After much strugle, I made it work (more importantly, I managed to type kanji for the heroines names. The game is bugged or something and it's hard to make the Japanese IME work properly with it T_T )
Now I just realized that since I don't understand, i can't really play (well, I can but no much point, since it's a text game OTL ) I'm waiting for the person in the link I put up there to continue the guide so I can advance XD ~~I want Dino's path XD~~

BTW, playing around with the IME (the system in Windows to input Japanese writing) sparkled my enthusiasm about learning Japanese once again. With the awesome help of !fujishiro-dora and the auto-convert function of the IME (you type hiragana and it converts to kanji) it's being quite fun and easier! (not that's easy per se, but much better than with books)
I can alredy type some simple phrases:
デイーノは雲雀に兎衣装を貸します
_{Dino lends Hibari a bunny costume}

Don't judge my sense to make up phrases! XD
I need to learn MUCH vocabulary. But first, I need to keep studing grammar. I'm on the verbs right now. And I know the numbers from 1 to 100 XD Is not much, but I've been on it but for a week or so! (plus what I remember from the time, yars ago, when I tried for the first time)

Japanese is so beautiful

Im learning japanese too! But i dont have the program installed to type japanese

This was funny :"Dino lends Hibari a bunny costume". xD I want to know why Hibari would borrow it and why Dino have it to begin with xD

and I have a question! i cant figure this out:
What does this "keep the source file in this temporary are after submitted" that you can choose when submit art? I havent noticed it before and I dont understand it xD

should I choose it? Thanks so much.

The files are in Windows CD. You just need to set some options and install from there. Let me see. . . Here's a full explanation [link] Choose you Windows version and follow the instructions.

Who knows XD I make weird phrases as practice just for fun XD

I haven't tried myself, but I know you can upload several files to the upload box, and not submitt right away (to public). They'll stay there for a while, then get deleted. Is useful if you are planning to submitt several files in the upcoming days, and may not be on the same computer always.
When you submitt it dissappears from there, but I think if you use that it may stay there.
Still, once you submitt, the file stays in DA anyways.
I don't know if that made much sense. I'm not good with long english explanations, sorry T_T
